English translation

His tears leaped from his eyes, and he asked, "With all that, where is that sweet-named King?" She replied, "That empty, deceitful hypocrite, A snare for fools and a lasso of error! Hundreds of thousands of raw-bearded men like you, Have fallen into a hundred rebellions and hardships because of him. If you do not see him and depart in safety, It will be for your own good; you will not be led astray by him. A boasting bowl-licker, a hollow drum! The noise of his drum has reached the ends of the land. These people are like the Tribes of Israel, worshipping the calf; Why do they rub their hands upon such a cow? He who is deceived by this hollow drum, Is a corpse by night and an idler by day. These people have abandoned a hundred sciences and perfections; They have clung to fraud and trickery, saying, 'This is the spiritual state!' Alas, where are the followers of Moses now, To shed the blood of the calf-worshippers? They have cast the religious law and piety behind their backs. Where is an Umar? Where is a severe commander of righteousness? For this permissiveness has been spread by this group, It has become a license for every corrupt scoundrel. Where is the path of the Prophet and his Companions? Where are his prayers, his rosary, and his devotions?"
