کشف الحجاب الحادی عشر فی السّماع / The Eleventh Unveiling: On Audition (al-Sama') in Kashf al-Mahjub

The eleventh and final 'unveiling' (kashf al-hijab) of Hujwiri's Kashf al-Mahjub is devoted to audition (sama') — the Sufi theory and practice of spiritual listening. It gathers a sequence of chapters (babs) that treat the subject from distinct but connected angles: establishing its permissibility, the audition of the Quran, of sounds and melodies, and of poetry, together with the rulings (ahkam), the disagreements (ikhtilaf), the ranks of listeners (maratib), and the etiquette (adab) of the practice. This node is the structural container for that treatise on sama', so that each individual bab section sits within Hujwiri's larger discussion rather than directly under the whole book.
