بخش ۳۲ - در حق پارسایان گوید / Section 32 - He Speaks Concerning the Pious

آن کسانی که راه دین رفتند
چهره از تنگ خلق بنهفتند

واسطهٔ عقد سنیان بودند
نه حروری نه مرجیان بودند

پخته از حسرت طلب گلشان
سوخته ز آتش وفا دلشان

هرچه اندر جهان پریشان بود
لاجرم زیر حکم ایشان بود

چون به سنت بدند یازنده
عالمی بود زان گره زنده

کرده از بهر جذب فایده شان
شهپر جبرئیل مایده شان

همه بردند کام دولت راند
همه رفتند و نام ازیشان ماند

English translation

Those who traversed the path of religion, Hid their faces from the crowd of creation. They were the central gem of the necklace of the followers of the Sunnah, They were neither Haruris nor Murji'ites. Their clay was baked by the yearning of seeking, Their hearts were burnt by the fire of fidelity. Whatever in the world was scattered, Was inevitably under their command. Since they were striving towards the Sunnah, A world was kept alive by that group. To attract their benefit, The wing of Gabriel was made their table spread. All attained their desire and drove the steed of fortune, All departed, and their names remained.
