Section 11 - On Sending Blessings upon Him and His Family, Peace Be Upon Him

Original content

English translation

Until Resurrection, O heart, if you speak praise, You have said it all if you praised Mustafa. Mention his name and do not worry about the world; The smiling houris will come forward themselves. Hell flees from his name in such a way That the soul of a demon flees from 'la hawla'. Whatever you desire, know it as his comprehension; And whatever you find, know it as his grace. Intellect is famous and renowned because It is a hired worker in that workshop of his. The soul is in the midst of honor and eternity Because it hopes for a meeting with that face. The soul that will not see that face Is not a soul, but rather a filthy sewer. Be his dust and rule as a king; Belong to him and do whatever you wish. Whoever is not like dust at his door— Even if an angel—dust be upon their head! When intellect mentions his person's name, The Universal Soul pulls its tongue into its mouth. The Universal Intellect became nothing without his value; Until it became his servant, it did not become dear. If any intellect flees from this door, The sky will hang it like a curtain. Intellect and soul, through the fortune of Ahmad, Were made into an eternal fortress of survival. When his essence broke away from the mine of 'Kun', It laid its hand on the waist of the sky. Although it did not ascend above the heavens, Until the earth opened up for it, it did not return. Who entered, other than the noble Muhammad, From the empty world into the filled realm? Say, who is the intercessor of the messengers other than him, At the head of the bridge of fire and upon the crossing? The chamberlain of the court whispered in the ear of his soul: 'O Emperor, lift your head from the cloak! O you whose speech and action are like rubies, Who are the soul of the souls of the proud. They beat the five drums on your Throne; They made your carpet from the world of the soul. Spread the carpet in the world of the soul; Bring the Throne under your feet like a carpet.'
