اختراعی چنین هرآنکه نهاد
راه در داد و لیک در نگشاد

خلق را جمله کرد سرگردان
وآنچه کرد از عمل تبه کرد آن

شخص گاهی که در شمار آید
مادرش اولین به کار آید

بعد از آن خانهٔ نحوس و سعود
که درآمد وی از عدم به وجود

خواهران و برادران پس از آن
پس پدر تا بداریش چون جان

خانهٔ رنجها و بیماری
نکبات و بلای و دشخواری

بعد از آن خانهٔ مناکح و جفت
به در آید بدان زمان ز نهفت

چون بجست از نهیب بند و کمند
پس ورا نه تو خانهٔ فرزند

خانهٔ دوست و خانهٔ دشمن
بعد از این خانه ها تو پی بفکن

ورنه بیهوده زین نمط کم گوی
ژاژ کم خای و پر بهانه مجوی

English translation

Whoever established such an invention, Showed the path but did not open the door. He made all of mankind bewildered, And what he did, he ruined by his actions. Whenever a person is to be reckoned, His mother is the first to be of use. After that, the houses of misfortune and fortune, Through which he came from non-existence into being. Sisters and brothers after that, Then the father, whom you should hold as dear as life. The house of sufferings and illness, Calamities, plagues, and hardship. After that, the house of marriages and spouse Comes forth from concealment at that time. When he escapes the terror of bonds and lassoes, Then assign him the house of children. The house of friends and the house of enemies, After these houses, lay your foundation. Otherwise, speak less of such vain matters, Cease talking nonsense and seek no more excuses.
