Section 4 - On the Mention that Our Prophet is a Mercy to the Worlds

Original content

English translation

The trouble of water and clay in this world, His pre-eternal grace has named as his mercy. The value of the Nights of Power is from his clay, The light of the Day of Resurrection is from his heart. The ring of all rings is in the ring of his hair, The guardian of religious laws is on the page of his face. The secret of God is the veil of his intimates, The Universal Soul is the form of his noble virtues. The throne of his love is upon the heaven of majesty, His root and branch are full of the arts of perfection. The purpose of the command 'Be' in pre-eternity was him; He is the first in thought and the last in execution. He was first in creation and form, And came last for the calling. He was in the garden of the sanctuary of intimacy; His mother was the Divine Command and his nurse the Holy Spirit. His stature, in its greatness and beauty, Would make a mockery of the straight cypress. His complexion would turn the moon into a rose, His fragrance would put musk to shame. The throat of creation is for the collar of his service, The character of creation is the breeze of the dust of his door. The earth has become a new bearer of his branch, The Throne has been overcome by his religious law. Erect in stature like the noble cypress, The central ornament of the intellect of Adam's children. The true dawn has never seen one like him on the path, A sun beneath the dome of the moon. The religious law and faith are his four elements and six directions; Intellect and soul are the gems of his two locks of hair. Seventeen hairs like stars in a garden, And the rest black like a crow's wing. In those black and white locks, Intellect has sewn bags of hope. His lineage was born twin with pre-eternity, His refinement has become a confidant of eternity.
