مقاله دوم - مصیبت نامه / Maqaleh 2 - Mosibat Nameh
The second Maqaleh (Discourse) of Farid al-Din Attar's Mosibat Nameh depicts the spiritual traveler's encounter with the Throne (Arsh) and the archangel Israfil. This discourse focuses on the absolute majesty of the Divine and the realization of one's own nothingness (fana) in the presence of the Creator. It serves as the structural and thematic container for the parables in this section (such as Section 4 and Section 5), which illustrate the hazards of ego and self-admiration in the path of devotion.
