Section 22 - He Speaks on Poetry

Original content

English translation

Poetry, the Throne, and the Law arose together, So that the two worlds were adorned by these three letters. Just as the earth takes light from the sky, From these three letters, both worlds take on a single attribute. Although the sun has become heavenly, In brilliance, it has become of the same kind as Sanai. From the perfection of poetry and the passion of the poet, Behold the wheel of heaven as Azraqi and Anvari. Open your eyes, and from poetry like sugar, Behold Ferdowsi from the Garden of Eden. See the fortune of Jamshid in poetry, See the sun as Shamsi and Khorshidi. And if you look from above toward the elements, You will see both Shahabi and Unsuri. And if you desire kingship in this science, Even if knowledge is in China, Khaghani is enough for you. Since Paradise, the sky, and the sun, Since the elements of wind, fire, earth, and water, Have a relation with these poets, Then the world is a poet like the others.
