دو ازین هفتگانه نحس نهند
در همه وقتها بد و تبهند

دو ازو در نهاد مسعودند
فاعل خیر و منبع جودند

دو از این معتدل به خیر و به شر
متوسط به حال یکدیگر

شمس خود کدخدای گردونست
نیرست از کواکبان چونست

همه زین قبهٔ بلند چو درج
درشو و آی این دوازده برج

نظر سعد راه تسدیس است
وآن دگر نحس راه و تسلیس است

English translation

Two of these seven are deemed inauspicious, At all times they are bad and ruinous. Two of them are inherently auspicious, They are the doers of good and the source of generosity. Two of these are moderate in good and evil, Intermediate in their relation to one another. The Sun itself is the lord of the heaven, It is a luminary; how it stands among the planets! All of them, from this high dome like a casket, Enter and exit these twelve signs of the zodiac. The auspicious aspect is the way of the sextile, And the other inauspicious one is the path of the trine.
