بخش ۳۱ - در معنی آن گوید که آنچه خاکی است به خاک باز شود / Section 31 - On the Meaning of the Saying That Whatever is of Earth Returns to Earth

تنت از چرخ و طبع دارد ساز
این و آن ساز خویش خواهد باز

جان حق داد جاودان ماند
زانکه حق داده باز نستاند

معرفت در دلت نهادهٔ اوست
باز کی گیرد آنچه دادهٔ اوست

کانکه او خود سرشت خاک نکرد
وانکه او خود نگاشت پاک نکرد

زانکه حکمت بد اقتضا نکند
هرچه حکمت کند هبا نکند

English translation

Your body is constructed from the heavens and nature Both will eventually demand their construct back The soul was given by the Truth (God) and remains eternal For what the Truth has given, He does not take back Gnosis in your heart was placed by Him When would He ever take back what is His gift? For what He Himself kneaded, He did not turn to dust And what He Himself painted, He did not erase Because Wisdom does not necessitate evil Whatever Wisdom does, it does not do in vain
