Section 6 - On the Universal Soul and Joining with Intellect and Gnosis, He Speaks

Original content

English translation

It is written in the expressions of the book, the unrolled parchment and the populated house. He is under the shadow of the refuge of intellect, the chamberlain of the court of intellect. The master of the sent Prophet is he, the second intellect and the first soul is he. For the sake of gaining benefit and realization, the Universal Intellect is Mustafa, and he is the Truthful. Continually receiving from the essence, taking impressions from the light of intellect. He is both a giver and a taker, both an acceptor and a transmitter. An intermediary between form and consciousness, becoming a tongue on this side and an ear on that side. When a man makes intellect his refuge, he makes the mass and form of the faint star Suha like the moon. For a while he revolves around the intellect, and though he is a son, he becomes a father. He becomes a king through the capital of intellect, he becomes a sun through the shadow of intellect. When his essence departs from deficiency, he rises higher and becomes one with intellect. When he becomes king over himself by the grace of intellect, he receives the robe of yearning from Allah. When yearning takes hold of his nature, it rouses the Universal Intellect from the path. Until now, intellect was his commander, from now on, intellect becomes compliant to his command. When he becomes the master of his own nature, he hears: 'Return to your Lord.'
