English translation

The seeker came before the formidable Throne, He said, "O boundary of body and pure soul, The seven rose gardens are the center of your compass, The eight paradises are drowned in your lights. You are the first foundation in the world, And you are the last body that remains. You came as the manager of body and soul, You came as the dome of secrets for part and whole. You are the ultimate reference for all spirits, You are the cutting point (end) for all phantoms. O you who have been established by the Sustainer of truth, You have become the eternal Kaaba for the holy ones. Hundreds of thousands of cherubic essences, Are in the state of loving and being loved. All have made your essence their Kaaba, Casting their hearts into circumambulation for eternity. Hundreds of thousands of spiritual elements, Are spinning in circumambulation around you. Mercy from both worlds is your portion, Because all mercy from the Compassionate One belongs to you. He who comes with such majesty, Can show a path if he wills." The Supreme Throne was moved by these words, Like the twilight, it shed blood from its eyes. It said, "From these words, I have nothing but a name, Consequently, I do not have a moment of peace. I have nothing from the Compassionate One but a name, How long will you say 'The Compassionate One is established upon the Throne'? I am worn out like a hungry wolf, With nothing in my stomach, yet my mouth is stained. As I trembled in place from the death of Sa'd, How can I have the endurance to bear God? If clear water flows before them, It becomes dark when it flows over me. Every moment, a hundred caravans of wealth reach me, Yet I do not see the capacity for even one. 'Am I not your Lord?' on the day of the covenant belongs to me, The story of 'and the leg is intertwined' belongs to me. My foundation and origin are upon the water, I am upon a restless water like a bubble. Although I have become the prayer-niche for angels, This is not a rank; I have not become an owner. I placed the footstool under my feet for that reason, So that my hand may reach somewhere. The footstool itself slipped from beneath my feet, And what you ask about vanished from my mind. I have told you my state, O pure man, Like me, sit in blood on the dust of pain." The seeker came before the perceptive old man (Sheikh), And opened his tongue to tell him of its state. The Sheikh told him, "The formidable Throne is, The world of mercy, the realm of pure light. Wherever there is mercy in both worlds, All have a portion from the Throne of the Compassionate One. The dwelling place of mercy from the Truth is the Throne, Then, through the Throne, it has come to the earth (the carpet). Whoever shows mercy today, The Truth distributes light to him from His Throne. Whoever is merciful to his subordinates, Will eternally become safe from the fear of Hell."
