Section 13 - The Tale and the Parable

Original content

English translation

A passionate beloved of the divine court there was, An ascetic quickly came before him on the road. He said, "Your Lord sends you His greetings." The beloved told him, "Move along your way! Keep your hands short from such meddling, For you are not at all aware of the Truth. How could the work of the Truth be based upon you? For He is free from needing a deputy like you. Step out of the middle, for that Singular Essence Knows how to speak and act without a messenger like you."
