Section 5 - The Tale and the Parable

Original content

English translation

The veil fell from the soul of Kharqani, That night, he saw God Almighty in a dream. He said, "O God, day and night, in every state, I have sought You, manifest and hidden, for sixty years. In hope of You, I have traversed many paths, I have been Your seeker as long as I have existed. Deliver me from my own existence, Give me the morning light of intimacy." God Almighty said, "O My Kharqani, If you have known Me for sixty years, Or if for sixty years, whether day or night, You have sought Us through your own effort; I, in the pre-eternities without cause, Decreed you to be possessed of fortune. Both in the pre-eternities and in eternity, I was in search of you while you were in non-existence. I have been seeking you more than you [have sought Me], I was in search of you before you were. This seeking that arose from your soul today, Is not yours at all, it is entirely Ours. If the seeking had not been from Us from the first, When would seeking have ever been actualized by you? Since you found the Puller and the Placed, You found yourself alive, free from self. Inevitably you became the eternal candle of faith, In safekeeping, you became a man of world-spanning vision."
