Section 10 - The Tale and the Parable

Original content

English translation

A certain madman asked a secret: 'O so-and-so, do you know the Truth without metaphor?' He replied, 'How could I not know Him a hundred times over, Since it is because of Him that I have become such a wanderer? He kept me far from both the city and my kinsmen, He took away my heart and left me abandoned. Day and night He holds my skirt in His hand; I know Him entirely as long as I exist.'
