در رهی داود طائی بی قرار
میشد و تعجیل بودش بیشمار
آن یکی گفتش چرا داری شتاب
گوئی افتادست در دکانت آب
گفت بر دروازه در بند منند
میشتابم چون شتابم میکنند
English translation
On a path, Dawud Ta'i, restless, Was walking, and his haste was countless. Someone said to him, "Why do you have such haste? It is as if water has flooded your shop." He said, "At the gate, they are waiting for me, I hasten, because they are hastening me."
