در وجود آمد بزرگی را پسر
نام حالی روستم کردش پدر
خود ز سستی سخت ناچیز آمد او
نام بودش روستم؛ حیز آمد او
هرکه دون حق ترا نامی نهد
تو یقین دان کان ترا دامی نهد
گر مسلم می شدی کاری به نام
می شدی از نام هرکاری تمام
English translation
A son was born to a great man, The father immediately named him Rostam. Yet, due to his weakness, he turned out to be quite insignificant; His name was Rostam, but he turned out to be cowardly. Whoever gives you a name other than the Truth, Know for certain that they are setting a trap for you. If a matter could be resolved merely by a name, Then every task would be accomplished by a name alone.
