نازنین شوریده میشد ناگهی
بود هم سرما و هم گل در رهی

آن یکی گفتش که گل بگرفت راه
خویش را بر خیز کفشی ژنده خواه

گفت چون پا را کنم کفشی طلب
خاصه اندر زیر میگیرند شب

تا که در شخص تو میماند دلت
هرگز آن دولت نیاید حاصلت

چون بجای دل رسی بی دل مدام
گردد این دولت ترا حاصل مدام

English translation

A charming madman was suddenly walking, There was both cold and mud on the path. Someone said to him, 'The mud has taken over the path, Get up and ask for a worn-out shoe for yourself.' He said, 'How can I seek a shoe for my foot, Especially since they are taken under at night?' As long as your heart remains within your self, You will never attain that spiritual wealth. When you continually reach the place of the heart, heartless, This spiritual wealth will constantly be yours.
