The Father's Answer

Original content

English translation

The father said to him, 'Your demon has overcome you, And your heart has become a seeker of that magic. For if this had not been obtained from your demon, You would not have had this desire in your heart. If you pass by this demon, you will be saved, Otherwise, you are a wretched devil-worshiper. You have no knowledge of God at all, Since you desire nothing but the work of the demon. For God's sake, you do not give a loaf of bread to a dervish, Yet for passion's sake, you would give a hundred times over from yourself. You are generous toward hypocrisy and passion, But you are destined for hell before God.'
