The Fifth Discourse

Original content

English translation

The second son came and said to his father That I wish to pierce the pearl in magic From the world, my heart desires magic If magic should come to my attainment I would observe every land I would live in joy in every corner Sometimes I would be at peace, sometimes at war My roaming ground would be from East to West At times I would make myself a bird At times I would hold my head high like people At times I would take to the mountains like leopards At times I would churn the sea like whales I would see all the possessors of beauty I would sit with each one behind the curtain I would find a way to everything that is needed I would find my command from the fish to the moon Reflect well upon this position you Tell me, who could have anything better than this?
