جواب پدر / The Father's Answer

پدر گفتش زهی شهوت پرستی
که از شهوت پرستی مست مستی

دل مردی که قید فرج باشد
همه نقد وجودش خرج باشد

ولی هر زن که او مردانه آمد
ازین شهوت بکل بیگانه آمد

چنان کان زن که از شوهر جدا شد
سر مردان درگاه خدا شد

English translation

The father said to him, 'Bravo, O worshiper of lust, For from the worship of lust you are completely intoxicated. The heart of a man that is bound by carnal desire, All the cash of his existence is spent. But any woman who has come forth manfully, Has become entirely alien to this lust. Just as that woman who separated from her husband, Became the chief of men at the threshold of God.'
