English translation

The seeker came, turning his back to the earth, And brought his attack to the Bearer of the Throne. He said, "O you who bear the Throne of God on your shoulders, The Throne is illuminated by your fervent heart. You have come under the burden of the Supreme Throne, You have become more burdened than both worlds. The Throne upon you is not twisted and entangled within you, And oh, the wonder that beneath your feet is nothingness! If these seven earthly carpets are to be rolled up, You will not turn your face away from the pedestal of the Throne. In body, you are more still than Mount Qaf, But in heart, you are like an ocean in circumambulation. Who is like you, with body standing still and heart roaming? Who is like you, a bird with wings and feathers tied yet flying? In manifestation, you have become apparent to the Throne, In hiddenness, you are present before the Lord of the Throne. You are both resident and traveler, Absent from yourself and present, both. Since you carry the burden of the Greatest Throne, You can also carry my burden if you choose to. Look, the day of my life has grown late, My companions are gone, and I am lost. How can a lost one turn back to anyone? One cannot go forward, nor turn back from behind." When the Bearer of the Throne heard these words, He made the Throne boil upon his shoulders. He said, "I am stuck beneath my burden, Like you, I am stuck in the pain of my task. The Throne is on my shoulders, and my feet are in the air; Who in the whole world has the endurance for this? I fear trembling from the light of the Throne, And if I tremble, I will fall down to the earth. Such a burden from above, and nothing below, How can one stand comfortably without twisting? If I do not fall nimbly beneath my burden, The fear is that I will fall to the dust. In such a precarious position where I am standing, Sit crooked and speak straight, where is the alchemy? Under the burden of the Throne, losing one's soul, One cannot forge the alchemy of love. Since the angels in the earth and sky, Have their loins girded for the sake of humanity. They have all lost their hearts in His service, They have made themselves His servants. Since love is a characteristic of humankind, If an angel falls in love, that would be human intimacy. Intimacy belongs to humanity, do not ask it of us, Do not seek as a loan from here what is not here." The seeker came before the renowned spiritual guide (Pir), And revealed his story to him clearly. The Pir told him, "The Bearer and the host of angels, Are a world of work and obedience, one by one. They are constantly present in obedience to the Truth, With hearts full of blood and observant souls. When they become restless from longing for the Divine Presence, They will eventually sacrifice their souls for that Presence."
