Section 3 - The Tale and the Parable

Original content

English translation

There was a happy madman beneath a patched cloak, He said, 'Whatever creation is trapped within, Is an affliction, and since I possess a divine fortune, I arrive from the realm of causelessness. From the path of causelessness they have brought me, Into the wealth of madness they have brought me. Consequently, no one has access to my secret, No soul is aware of my madness. Whoever falls into the unconditioned realm of the Truth, Falls into absolute, eternal happiness. Whatever he saw and whatever befell him as well, He considered it all as pleasant as his own dear soul.'
