English translation

The heart-lost seeker raised a lament, He went before the heart, his heart detached from the soul. He said: "O barrier between body and soul, The atoms of the world are the reflection of your secrets. All the secrets of existence and non-existence, in truth, Are acquired for you from your essence until eternity. Those atoms are entirely spiritual, Always pure from oneness and duality. Oh wonder, there is both one and two there, There is no distinction, and yet all distinction is there. If existence and non-existence were not your signs, Your essence would be a part, not the whole. You have everything and you have nothing at all, So that just as you have being, you also have non-being. Since you have heard 'with the One, far from number', Like Friday, you are neither self nor selfless. Since your left has all become right, Whatever you call 'that', has all become 'this'. Your 'this and that' is ready cash enough for 'that and this', The proof of your totality is 'His hands', this is enough. You have fallen between the two fingers (of God), Inevitably you have fallen as both the other and the essence. The right hand of the Sultan is enough for your two fingers, These two proofs are constantly enough for your demonstration. Since such proximity has become certain for you, The least distance for you became the two worlds. Give proximity to this one fallen far away, A heartless one who has fallen in excess." When the heart heard his secrets from the heartless one, Like the heart, it became bewildered in his affair. It said: "I am a reflection from the sun of the soul, Eternally drunk from the eternal wine of the soul. The heart arose from the finger, the soul from the special breath, When does the manifest do the right work like the hidden? I am a heart (qalb) because I am constantly turning, Until a breeze arrives from the breath of my spirit. I am a heart because I am turning constantly, Until a greeting arrives from the proximity of my soul. I am a heart because I am turning like a polo ball, Until a single atom of scent arrives to me from the soul. Constantly I have fallen drunk without wine, For I have fallen into hand from such a hidden realm. A hidden realm that ultimately has no outer face, The people of the manifest do not have a single hair of it. The soul arrives from the hidden, what can I do? Inevitably, from this grief I turn myself into blood. If for a single breath you need my proximity, You must make your homeland amidst blood. Otherwise, abandon blood and abandon dust, Become pure and take the path of the pure soul." The seeker came before the vigilant Pir, He recounted his state, a heart full of distress. The Pir told him: "The heart is the ocean of love, Its wave full of the pearl of the passion of love. The pain of love has come as the remedy for every heart, No problem was ever solved without love. See love in the heart, and the heart hidden in the soul, A hundred worlds in a hundred worlds in a hundred worlds. Why do you remain in a keyhole? Observe these worlds for a moment. How long will you ponder? Enter this field, Enter round and bewildered like a polo ball. The man of love is not a planner of interests, The pain of love will demand restlessness from you."
