المقالة الرابعة / The Fourth Discourse
The Fourth Discourse (المقالة الرابعة) of Farid al-Din Attar's Elahi Nameh (The Book of God) is a major structural section of the overarching poetic work. It contains a series of didactic and mystical narratives—such as 'The Tale of the Vizier Who Had a Beautiful Son' and 'The Tale of the Prince with Whom the Commander Fell in Love'—which are used to illustrate profound Sufi teachings on love, beauty, devotion, and the spiritual path.
