The Nineteenth Discourse

Original content

English translation

The sixth son came, his heart full of secrets, From the diamond of his tongue, pearls were scattered, He said to the father, 'I always desire that alchemy should be our profession. If I find a way to the science of alchemy, the whole world will seek alchemy from me. If I find that fortune, I will find religion, for when that one is acquired, I will obtain this. I will make the world full of safety through myself, and I will make the poor rich through myself.'
