The Thirteenth Discourse

Original content

English translation

The beautiful fourth son entered, Completely calm and tranquil from head to toe. He said to his father: 'As long as I am in this universe, With a hundred hearts, I am a seeker of the Water of Life. If that water falls into my hands, I am saved, And if not, I have nothing but wind in my hands. From my longing for that water, my soul has caught fire, I neither eat by day nor sleep by night. From this thought, my heart is full of torment; I have become thirsty, I desire that water.'
