(۱۱) سؤال موسی از حق سبحانه و تعالی / (11) Moses's Question to the Glorious and Almighty God

مگر پرسید موسی ازخداوند
که ای دانندهٔ بی مثل و مانند
ز خلقان کیست دشمن گیر یا دوست
که هم محتاج و هم درویش تو اوست
خدا گفت او رهین نعمت ماست
کسی کو سرکشد از قسمت ماست
کسی کز قسمت ما در نفیرست
اگر روزست و گر شب در ز حیرست
English translation
Once Moses asked God, "O Knower without peer or equal, Who among the creatures is an enemy or a friend, Who is both needy and Your dervish?" God said, "He is bound by Our blessing, The one who rebels against Our apportionment. The one who laments about Our apportionment, Whether it is day or night, is in distress."
