پدر گفتش امل چون غالب آمد
دلت عمر ابد را طالب آمد
از آنی آب حیوان را خریدار
که جانت را امل آمد پدیدار
اگر یک ذره نور صدق هستت
امل باید که گردد زیر دستت
English translation
The father said to him: 'Since false hope became dominant, Your heart became a seeker of eternal life. You are a buyer of the Water of Life for this reason: That false hope has manifested in your soul. If you have a single atom of the light of sincerity, False hope must become subjugated beneath your hand.'
