نخستین قدوهٔ دار الخلافه
جهان صدق و پور بوقحافه

اساس دین حق بنیاد تحقیق
نیابت دار شاه شرع صدیق

سپهر صدق را خورشید انور
چراغ اولیا صدیق ابوبکر

شریعت را نخستین قره العین
رفیق مصطفی و ثانی اثنین

شراب شرع چون جوشی بجوشید
بامنا و صدقنا بنوشید

نخستین جام حکمت نوش او کرد
ز دست مصطفی سر جوش او خورد

نبی را در امامت پیش رفته
توانگر آمده درویش رفته

چو حق در گوش جان او ندا کرد
هر آنچش بود با دختر فدا کرد

چو درباخت آنچ بودش زر و سیمی
بساخت ازمال دنیا با گلیمی

زهی بینندگی و پاک بازی
ولیکن نیست صدیقی به بازی

مخالف گو بیا بر خوان و بشناس
ستدعون الی قوم اولی باس

ز اول روز تا روز قیامت
نبی در حق او کرده کرامت

در اول هم دم او در هر اندوه
چه در شهر و چه در غار و چه در کوه

در اوسط نایب خاص نخستین
پیمبر را نیابت کرده در دین

در آخر در بر او خفته در خاک
زهی پیر و مرید و چست وچالاک

English translation

The first exemplar of the abode of the Caliphate, The world of truthfulness and the son of Abu Quhafa. The foundation of the true religion, the basis of realization, The deputy of the king of Islamic law, al-Siddiq. The radiant sun of the sphere of truthfulness, The lamp of the saints, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq. The first delight of the eyes for the Sharia, The companion of Mustafa and the second of the two. When the wine of the law began to boil, He drank it with 'we believed and we affirmed.' He was the first to drink the cup of wisdom, He drank its first draft from the hand of Mustafa. He preceded the Prophet in leading the prayer, He arrived wealthy and departed as a dervish. When the Truth called into the ear of his soul, He sacrificed all he had, along with his daughter. When he gave away whatever gold and silver he possessed, He settled for a coarse cloak from the wealth of the world. Bravo to such insight and pure devotion, But being a Siddiq (truthful one) is no child's play. Tell the opponent: come, read, and understand, 'You shall be called against a people possessed of great might.' From the first day until the Day of Resurrection, The Prophet has honored him with miracles. In the beginning, his close companion in every sorrow, Whether in the city, in the cave, or on the mountain. In the middle, the first special deputy, Acting as the Prophet's deputy in religion. In the end, sleeping beside him in the dust, Bravo to such a spiritual guide and disciple, alert and agile!
