English translation

For this reason, the Prophet with earnest effort Gave the name of 'Mawla' to himself and that Ali. He said, 'Anyone for whom I am master and friend, My cousin Ali is his master.' Who is a master? He who frees you, And removes the shackles of slavery from your feet. Since prophethood is the guide to freedom, Believers receive their freedom from the prophets. O group of believers, rejoice! Like the cypress and the lily, be free! But give thanks for the water every moment, Wordlessly, like the beautifully colored rose garden. Wordlessly, the cypress and the green meadow speak Thanks for the water and thanks for the justice of the new spring. Wearing fine garments and trailing their skirts, Intoxicated, dancing, happy, and scattering ambergris. Every single part of them pregnant by the king of spring, Their bodies like a casket full of the pearls of fruit. Marys without husbands, pregnant with Messiahs, Silent ones, without boasting, yet eloquent in speech. Our moon has shone brightly without speech, Every tongue has found speech from our splendor. The speech of Jesus was from the splendor of Mary, The speech of Adam was a ray of that Breath. So that increase may come from gratitude, O trustworthy ones, Then there is another plant within the plant. The reflection of that is here: 'Disgrace to him who is content', In this spiritual realm is: 'Honor belongs to him who covets'. Do not go so deeply into the sack of your ego, Do not be heedless of those who would purchase you.
