English translation

The king asked him, 'After all, what is revelation, Or what benefit does he possess who is a prophet?'

He replied, 'What is there indeed that he has not obtained, Or what fortune remains that he has not attained?

Even if I assume that this prophet's revelation is no treasure, It is surely not less than the revelation in the heart of the bee.

Since "And your Lord revealed unto the bee" has been declared, Its house of revelation has been filled with sweetmeat (honey).

By the light of the revelation of God, the Majestic and Glorious, It has filled the world with candles (wax) and honey.

How could the revelation of this human, who is "We have honored" and ascends on high, Be less than that of a bee?

Have you not read "Indeed, We have granted you the Kawthar"? Why then are you dry and remaining thirsty?

Or perhaps you are like Pharaoh, and Kawthar, like the Nile, Has turned into blood for you and become unpleasant, O afflicted one?

Repent and disassociate yourself from every enemy Who does not possess the water of Kawthar in his gourd.

Whomever you see rosy-faced from the Kawthar, He is of Muhammad's character; align yourself with him,

So that you may be reckoned among those who "love for God's sake," For he holds an apple from the tree of Ahmad (Muhammad).

Whomever you see dry-lipped from the Kawthar, Hold him as an enemy, just like death and fever,

Even if he be your father or your mother, For in reality, he is a drinker of your blood.

Learn this way of life from Abraham, the Friend of God, Who first became disassociated from his father,

So that you may stand before God as one who "hates for God's sake," Lest the jealousy of Love strikes you with wasting consumption.

Until you recite the "No" and "Except God", You will not find the highway of this path.'
